Citi’s Former MD Joins Cryptocurrency Company Copper

Another heavyweight in the banking world, Sabrina Wilson has moved to the cryptocurrency sector. Her career switch is in line with the recent trend of bankers entering the crypto world.

After UK Chancellor Lord Hammond and Morgan McKenney, Sabrina Wilson is another big name from the conventional finance domain to join the evolving crypto domain. Sabrina Wilson had been the former managing director of banks like Citi and Deutsche Bank. She was also the co-head of OTC clearing, FX prime brokerage, and futures at Citi.

Sabrina’s illustrious career also includes her job at Deutsche in a senior role. She used to work as the international head of electronic algorithmic trading at a German bank. After spending 4 years in Citi, Sabrina Wilson has decided to move into the cryptocurrency sector to exploit the booming digital currency sector.

The growing trend of making a move to the crypto sector is nothing new. Even an ex-chancellor from the UK Lord Hammond has moved to the same company – Copper. Copper is a crypto firm that calls itself an institutional gateway to investments in digital assets. Sabrina’s career switch is expected to help the company in garnering more institutional investments.

For a long time, Copper has been hiring top banking talent from around the world. And, Sabrina Wilson’s addition to the roaster will give the company a major boost.
