Shaquille O’Neal Ends his Affair with ETH by Changing his Twitter Name to Solana

Shaquille O’Neal, popularly known as Shaq, has changed his preference when it comes to cryptocurrencies. His Twitter handle is now SHAQ.SOL instead of SHAQ.ETH.

Shaq already has over 15 million followers on Twitter. The change to Solana was noticed by many of his followers. In recent times, Shaq has shown his preference for Solana via his retweets like the one he made about an upcoming project for Solana.

The project Shaq tweeted about will go live on 9th March 2022. The retweet about Solana is proof that Shaq has moved on from ETH to SOL. Shaquille O’Neal’s love for cryptos started when he bought a Non-Fungible Token from the Jungle Cats collection. But his affair with Solana is new.

Shaq is also the proud owner of Mutant Ape Yacht Club NFT. For the uninitiated, MAYC is another project by Yuga Labs – the founders of BAYC. MAYC apes are created by exposing BAYC apes to a vial of mutant serum. The mutant serum disfigures the face completely and gives it a unique look, which is probably what got Shaq interested.

Shaq is a big name in the NBA fraternity and possibly the biggest promoter of Solana so far. His switch in allegiance might just give the SOL project the much-deserved boost that it needs.
