Third Richest Man in Mexico Strongly Advises People to Buy Bitcoin

Ricardo Salinas Pliego is a billionaire with the most straightforward advice on Bitcoin – buy it and forget about selling it. Ricardo heads the Grupo Salinas – a collection of multiple companies in domains like media, telecom, retail, and finance.

Currently, there are a lot of reservations in the market about the future of Bitcoin. But unfortunately, even Bitcoin’s strongest proponents are not dishing out such clear-cut recommendations. But with a net worth of over $13 billion. Salinas is a man who knows what he is doing. So, when he says something, people are likely to listen.

He strongly voiced his opinions via Twitter and told people to keep on buying Bitcoin as its price is low. Salinas was quite confident with his advice and even told people to thank him later for his recommendation.

Since Bitcoin hit its highest high in November last year, it has taken a tumble and fallen by nearly 40%. Naturally, many people doubt its potential. Many corporations have invested in Bitcoin after its fall. For instance, companies such as Microstrategy and the government of El Salvador have purchased Bitcoin.

Even one US senator, Ted Cruz, has bought Bitcoin after seeing a low price. This is not the first time Salinas has voiced his opinion about the power of Bitcoin. In his previous tweets, he has made a mockery of fiat currencies. In December, Salinas said that euros and dollars are fake money created using paper and are nothing less than a fraud.

Last year, he said that the governments are afraid that Bitcoin will get people out of the trap set by their fiat currencies.
