Why Listing of LEASH Tokens on Estonian Crypto Exchange Matters?

The rising Shiba Inu burn rate is fueling the fire inside the hearts of SHIB lovers. The meme coin is doing what bears don’t want Shiba Inu to do – proving them wrong. Such have been the positive vibes that the lesser-known LEASH token has also been listed in a crypto exchange.

Shiba Inu ecosystem consists of three tokens: SHIB, BONE, and LEASH. Although major global exchanges list SHIB and BONE, it is for the first time an exchange has listed LEASH alongside the two.

Great news for SHIB Army, Switchere crypto exchange based in Tallinn, Estonia, has listed LEASH.

The Evolution of LEASH in the Shiba Inu Ecosystem

LEASH has a fixed supply of only 107,646 tokens. As a real-life leash keeps a dog from wandering, the Shiba Inu LEASH token was supposed to be a rebase coin for Shiba Inu’s exchange ShibaSwap. However, the LEASH token is now untethered from its bond and has moved on to become a special token that SHIB lovers use to attend exclusive events and access NFTs.

LEASH was initially pegged to the value of Dogecoin. But as Shiba Inu exploded and showed a once-in-a-lifetime growth, making unsuspecting people millionaires – the decision-makers changed its functionality completely.

LEASH vs. BONE vs. SHIB

The primary token of the Shiba Inu ecosystem, SHIB, was created with a supply of 1 quadrillion tokens. As per Coinmarketcap, its current supply is at 589 trillion.

BONE, the governance token of ShibaSwap, has a supply of 250 million. There was a debate among the community about whether to increase the supply of BONE to 270,000,000 to support the launch of Shiba Inu’s layer-2 protocol Shibarium. However, the community firmly voted against the proposal.

And the lesser-known LEASH has recently started showing itself as a mainstream token. Currently, there are 107,647 minted LEASH tokens. LEASH is now present on Estonia’s top crypto exchange Switchere.com.

Use Cases for LEASH Token

LEASH is available on the ShibaSwap decentralized exchange. LEASH holders can stake it on the exchange to earn rewards.

LEASH can be used to buy Shiba Inu NFTs. For instance, it was used in the Shiboshi NFT sale. Currently, there are 10,000 NFTs available for purchase.

LEASH is the primary token for buying LAND in the Shibaverse, which is the metaverse of the Shiba Inu ecosystem.

Conclusion

Although LEASH is not as well-known as other Shiba Inu tokens, it has great potential to turn into a juggernaut. The Shiba Inu ecosystem is developing rapidly due to the initiatives taken by the SHIB community and developers like Shytoshi Kusama. SHIB: The Metaverse promises events, NFTs, and LAND in the metaverse for people holding LEASH. But still, until now, it wasn’t listed on a major exchange. However, after seeing the decisive actions of the SHIB community and developers, the world’s prominent exchanges have started listings secondary Shiba Inu tokens like BONE and LEASH. FCF recently listed BONE, and now Switchere crypto exchange has listed LEASH. As listing LEASH is a revolutionary step, it matters a lot for the Shiba Inu investors.
