Solana White Paper (SOL)

Welcome to this blog post that will teach you more about the Solana white paper. As an investor, I want to make sure you know all of the details and potential applications of the blockchain before coming on board.

Solana is purposely keeping the documentation on the AXS model minimal. The reason for this is to prevent large groups of people with malicious intent from exploiting the vulnerabilities in their systems.

The aim of this blog post is to quickly describe the philosophy behind the Solana.

I can guarantee that after reading the Solana white paper (SOL), you’ll be able to understand every bit of information relating to it.

Rather than waiting any longer, let’s immediately dive into the content of this white paper and learn more about it.

What is white paper?

A white paper is an informative, influential document that provides in-depth information about a specific solution.

A research paper offers a good insight into a specific problem and a proposed solution to the same.

All about Solana White Paper (SOL)

The AXS white paper will provide you with all the info you need to know about how the game works. It’ll answer all your questions, like “what problem is it trying to solve?”, “How does the game work?” and many others.

Introduction to Solana

Solana White Paper will be going to provide you with all the information you need to get started, including the inspiration for creating it and how it is intended to solve certain problems.

Abstract

In this paper, we propose a new blockchain architecture based on Proof of History (PoH). A provably honest approach for verifying the passage of time. We will use PoH to prove that events occurred in a particular order – something which can be used to build a type of ledger that doesn’t need trusted actors.

When used alongside an algorithm like Proof of Work or Proof of Stake. PoH can reduce the messaging overhead in Byzantine Fault Tolerant replicated systems. This means that transactions are confirmed promptly, with almost no room for error.

This paper also introduces two algorithms that leverage the timekeeping properties of the POHL ledger. One of these is a pure Proof-of-Stake algorithm that recovers from any size partition, while the other is an efficient streaming Proof-of-Replication algorithm.

The protocol combines PoRep and PoH to provide a defense against the forgery of the ledger. This paper analyses the network throughput of different 1 Gbps networks and shows that up to 710k transactions per second can be processed.
